Alright everyone, The time has come for us to sell my Fiance's SHO taurus

Its a 1995 Ford Taurus SHO

The Good:
New front brake pads/rotors/calipers
Minty interior with hard button EATC
127K on the body, no noticeable rust on the whole car
White slicers
New Spark plugs
New spark plug wires
New Cam Sensor
New Rear O2
New Knock Sensor
New Radiator
Tint on all side windows, and rear.
Flowmaster mufflers, Catless exhaust.
Silverstar headlight bulbs
Less than a year on the rebuilt transmission, Shifts PERFECTLY, and has a performance shift-kit installed.

The Bad:
Was in a collision last winter that I repaired, so its not the prettiest car, but the collision didn't really do any damage aside from the hood and flexing the core support a bit (which cracked the old radiator, hence the new one). I pulled the core support back, and put on a replacement hood.

Aside from that, The car isn't running 100% right now, and I'm not really sure why. It starts and idles strong, but is having some powerloss issues so its just kinda annoying to drive because it takes a while to get up to speed.

The car used to be a monster, Just lately its been having this powerloss issue. I'm sure its something simple, but I rather my Fiance drive something that gets 35mpg and is easier for me to work on

 

This is kind of tempting. Tell me is it an auto or 5 speed, title clear, what do you mean noticeable rust?

Its an automatic, Trans just got rebuilt last year, shifts GREAT. Title is clean and in my name, and when I say 'no noticeable rust' that means I can't think of any place where there IS rust on the entire car honestly, its very clean and straight aside from the core support which you can't see with the hood closed anyways.

 

SHO's never came in a 5-speed, there have been a few converted but that's it

yes they did. this year at least. the newer ones did NOT.

Specifically

1989-1991 Ford Taurus SHO's *first generation* ONLY came in 5-speed
1992 Ford Taurus SHO's *Second Generation* ONLY came in 5-speed
1993-1995 Ford Taurus SHO's *Interior Re-design, still second generation* Came in Automatic OR manual, Automatics outsold the Manuals 5-1 for these 3 years of production
1996-1999 Ford Taurus SHO's *third gen* Came with the 3.4L V-8 with a block from ford, heads from Yamaha, and Cams from Ford *that are a known failure point* ONLY came in automatic. There is ONE converted one in the US to my knowledge, and it is located here in IL.

Car is still forsale! This things a STEAL!
