Fuel pump woes
Ok, my car was running like complete garbage, so I decided to buy a new engine. Now despite running like said garbage, it still started and and stayed running everytime. I swapped the motor for a 96 which I was told is obd2, which should have been fine since my car is a 97, and also obd2. After the swap, the car cranks and will not turn over. The fuel pump doesn't prime, and all the fuses and the relays are good. I hardwired the fuel pump right from the battery and it primed, however even after putting fuel into the rail the car refuses to start, the only plugs in the engine bay that aren't being used are the A/C ones, since I pulled all the A/C out, and all my grounds appear to be ok. I really need your help guys, this car has been nothing but a headache since day one.
wow... i have a 98, just swapped in a 95.. converted to obd1.. but i'm havin the exact same problem.. i'm gonna try to rewire from my relay to my pump and see if the wiring is kinked or something.
