Default South Bay Junkyards?

I've never even been to a junkyard, yet alone seen many; I have little clue where to look other than google "junkyards san jose" in google and see what happens -_-

Are some junkyards import specific? I own a 1989 Civic Si, so I imagine parts would be fairly common, I just don't know the deal on junkyards at all. I suppose I could just walk into some place and ask these questions, I just don't know where any are. I understand some places are pick and pull, and some places you just ask if they have a part and they have an inventory and price for each part, correct? Are pick and pulls generally more expensive? Is there a fee to see everything? Any answers would be appreciated

there's honda heaven but they dont really have anything for ef's i would go to hondas olny in santa clara off of central expressway they might be able to help you out you can also give them a call and make sure they have the part you need before you go so you dont waste your time going all the way over there good luck bro

i go to the junkyard almost every weekend. theres one on Monterey, commercial, trade zone. pay 2 bucks to get in, then go dig for your parts. theres the majority of EFs in there..i find everything i need all the time.

trade zone in milipitas, man its like heaven over there. we get engines hasport mounts for ef, racing seats, steering wheels rims, suspension, jdm fronts etc..we got an itr w/lsd over there for 400 with everything!

pick-n-pull has a chart at the register to tell you the price of every little part that you might be pulling out.

a Dismantling place is where you would go to ask if they have the part you need in their inventory..thats different than the junkyard.

pick n pull newark is best IMO.. berryessa is next and monterey pnp has to be the gayest one. dont bother with oakland or richmond those yards suck and the people who charge for parts charge for every little thing. PYP FTW! the one off winton or the one off trade zone/montague is coo

You can try Import Center in hayward. They have some good stuff, but you have to bargain with them.

^ i just went to the import one a few days ago and you can't even go in the yard. Price wise I paid $50 for 2 used upper control arms for an accord. They got a lot of coil overs all over the place. I did see a used no name brand CIA for $175 so some of their parts are over priced.
