Default Removing drivers side 97 civic axle?? need help

Never done this before so now I am stuck. I have the caliper removed and was thinking the disc would come off to allow the axle to slide out of the end but am confused with what do take off next to get the axle free. Do you have to remove the lower arm bolts and things like that? I was hoping the brake disc came off and the axle came out that way? Lost and without a clue. Thanks for your help.

yeah u need to take off the lower ball joint nut off to remove the lower control arm, in doing so u can swing the rotor to the and use a pry bar to pop the axle out. That should be it and same for the other side if needed
