i have a bad ac compressor on my 95 cx. i bought a used one from this place came with a liftetime replacement warranty.

anyway i'm wanting to swap them out myself. i have a honda factory service manual for my car. seems simple enough but it notes changing the compressor oil and the dryer. i was wondering how important these 2 things are.

and for anyone thats done this already any pointers you can give me before i attempt this. i'm not too much of a mechanic. but in the name of saving like 180$ in labor i'm willing to give it a go. also found a charging kit for cheap so might pick that up too. to recharge it this place wants to tax me another 120$.

oh yeah one last thing. there appeared to be antifreeze or something of similiar texture and color coming out of one of the inlet/outlets? i was wondering why the hell that would be coming out of it?
