I plan on removing the emblems on the hatch on my DA and theres holes behind them. What is the best way to fill them? Weld them shut and then repaint the whole hatch? Anyone know about how much this would cost me?

 

you got to get the holes welded for sure cus if you get them filled they will eventually crack and brek open again, and the whole panel in this case the hatch has to get refinish... price?? that depends on the body shop?

 

Look into JB Weld.

 

Weld them (MIG Weld) and repaint

 

how do you guys prevent warpage when welding these holes?

 

small tacks here, skip to another hole small tack there, come back to first one small tack...etc. until holes are filled, the idea is to not let heat build up to much in one place bc that is what causes the warpage
