2000 dc2 help asap mph dont work and vtec doesnt engage and car wount stay on
well today after eating some lunch i turn the car on i noticed that my mph dont work and that vtec doesnt engage and car wouldnt stay on unless i hold the the gas pedal and not letting it drop under 1000 rpm you guys whats wrong i checked alternator and alternator still works plz help

Does the CEL bulb work? It should illuminate when starting the car.
Also, what is done to theis car? ECU swap, etc.

Gen 3s have a VSS, not a cable. My guess at this point is a bad ground causing fault with the cluster/ECU.
