Default Lowering Springs Bump Stop Q

Hey i recently purchased some skunk2 shocks and coilovers. Ok i recently sold my coil overs and got some lowering springs but i already cut the bumpstops in half. Will this be a problem when i install the lowering springs? Do i need the complete bumps top or the halves will do? Is there any consequences to having them either way. Thanx i appreciate the help

Shouldn't be a problem, as long as there's an inch or more of bump-stop left.
