Loweing springs help.Already tried suspension forum no help.
Hey i recently purchased some skunk2 shocks and coilovers. Ok i recently sold my coil overs and got some lowering springs but i already cut the bumpstops in half. Will this be a problem when i install the lowering springs? Do i need the complete bumps top or the halves will do? Is there any consequences to having them either way. Thanx i appreciate the help And sorry for posting here but im actually installing them now and need this answered thanx.

You have to cut the stops when you install lowering springs anyway. Half off should be fine. Your bumpstops only do anything on EXTREME wheel travel. More than what's supposed to happen. As in hitting a huge bump or water buffalo with stock suspension...or just hitting a moderate bump with an over lowered car.
