OBD0 PR4 Auto in 90 SI ls swapped?
Ok guys so here is the deal. My buddy just recently purchased a 90 SI hatch with a 94 ls swap in it. The car is running on a stock SI ecu at the moment. It has something wrong inside the mother board of the main processor. It keeps throwing o2 sensors codes. when the sensor has been replaced and all possible wires leading to and from. Now i have 2 OBD0 ecu's. One from a 89 integra not sure if its auto or not, and one from a 90-91 integra. The second one is a automatic. Now if i put this ecu in this car will will it throw codes for a egr? If im not mistaken auto integra had egr's. Someone please chime in if you have any info thanx.
i kinda had the same problem i had 2 obd-0 pr4 ecus one had a external pa sensor and the other ecu had a internal pa sensor and i would throw the EGR code with i think the one with internal pa sensor, but for automatic im sure you can use it but it will throw a code cuz its auto thats it but it would be best if you get a manual one
I have never seen a integra with an egr auto or not, I dont think they had them, my last motor was a ls that was from an auto car and it did not have a EGR.
the 2nd gen auto integras had EGR's my 92 DA had a egr when it was auto with the orignal b18a in it. i also work at acura and ive seen qutie a few to know they had them.
I have a 90 LS - AUTO trans. Yes the Auto Manifold will have the port for an EGR valve. The EGR rests between the rear portion of the head and front end of the IM. The ECU will send code 12.
