ls/vtec or b20/vtec
my b16 block just threw a rod and i am trying to find out which combo would be better.[ls/vtec or b20/vtec]hope you guys can help me out and i know one of you is going to ask or say well how much you have and well the car is going no where at this moment so i have time to save.
b20v is the best way to go imo, but lsv's arent too bad either. what chassis is this going into?? the main thing to think about is the right parts your going to use.
i havent seen much b20's being sold (short block only) but an ls/v with the right parts can give u more than what u asked for

well is going into 90 ef hatch and i know the b20 sounds good but am still going to keep the options open at this moment i want to make sure is done right and that i got the right combo
go with b20v...the ls block and the b20 block are the same besides that the sleeves are tinner on the b20..and the b20s bore is a 84mm and the ls 82mm....you will have a better bottem end with the b20v...i would do b20v if i didnt have already a 2.0 ls block chillin in my room...lol
