Default How Do I Find a Shortage to my Brake Lights!!!

hey guys i have a 1994 dc2 and i was wondering how do i find the shortage to my brake lights. Everytime i would try to change the fuse and then hit the brakes the fuse would blow out, the shop told me i had a fuse shortage but i dont know how to find it. Can someone PLEASE give me some advice or some tips on how to fix this im not really familiar with eletrical wiring for the car and dont wanna get pulled over and get a ticket for this.

If you cant read a multimeter then find a friend who can and get a copy of the brake wiring diagram.
Have you changed anything on the car recently with any electronics?
Try checking the brake switch(by the pedal) for fraded or torn wires.
