So I have this crappy *** 92 CX (canadian made) and I have an old *** d16y8 just laying around. I'm going to put the engine into the car for lack of anything better to do with my time. I plan on using the stock harness because it is already wired for Vtec. Now I'm assuming that a P28 will plug into the harness but will all the other stuff work with this, like the dist, etc. Can I just use the CX mounts?



also, does anybody have the pinouts for a d16z6 ECU and a 92 CX harness?

 

you will need the trani mount off of the y8 and you will need the obd one injectors and dist.other than that i can not think of anything else you will need

 

and the alternator too, or you can just swap the plugs on all of those things instead, internals are the same
