can a 96-98 civic carbon fiber hood fit on my 2000 civic??
i think it will fit but i dont want to risk it, i know that the 96 and 98 front end of a civic were different from the 99-00 version, because the lights are different or the whatever. i sold my OEM hood to a guy with a 97 civic and the hood fit fine, does anyone know if a 96-98 carbon fiber hood will fit on my 2000 civic? thanks

I dont think so cause between 99-00 had different bumper,fenders, and what not which i guess would include the hood too? Im not 100% sure but i know alot of people do 99-00 conversions on their cars. Hope someone else can shed some light in this one for ya.

Compare the amount of space between the headlights and grille. The '99-'00 space is shorter. So this hood would sit up above your headlights. Also look at the lengths of the grilles. The '99-'00 is longer.
Since the hood matches with those parts, it won't fit.

I 100% gaurentee you it wont fit 
but you can if you convert front end to a 99-00 front end
bumper,hood,fenders and lights are different from 96-98 and 99-00

He wants to put a '96-'98 hood on a '99-'00. So he'd actually have to convert to a '96-'98 front end if he wanted the hood to fit.
