96-98 vs. 99-00
can someone tell me how to tell the difference between a 96-98 hood and a 99-00 hood? ill be purchasing a carbon fiber hood from someone and he doesnt know if its 96-98 or 99-00... and no i dont have a car to test fit it on.. any other ways to check? like the shape or anything?

measure the distance of the center of the hood from headlight to headlight, where the grill meets the hood.
distance on 99-00 is longer than 96-98.
distance on 99-00 is longer than 96-98.
