Where to find Honda 4lug wheels with a LIP
I am about to buy a 88-91 CRX and want a nice wheel with lip. All I find is flat or nearly flat faced wheels. I am looking for the most lip i can fit under the little car. Help a brotha out.

Quite a lot of poor suggestions there, SuzukaBlueAP2. All of them are too tall, for his specific application.
If you're looking for the visual perspective of "deep dish" go with something like Axis OG's or their new 4-spoke model.
PS. The wheels on that specific car are Schmidt Space 1-TLG's. And that car has some serious fender flares.

I absolutely LOVE the Lip on those wheels and the styles BUT I want something at least 17". 15's are just too small for my tastes. 17's or 18's are what i am looking for.
Any ideas?

That's what Tire Rack has that fit what he was asking for. Tell them they make poor suggestions.

You should get a car that uses bigger tires, and has wheel wells and a suspension designed to accept them. Tire availability in 17" and 18" sizes is a problem, because the smallest sizes commonly sold are 205/40-17 and 215/35-18, both of which are MUCH too big for a CRX. You can 18"s with a 2001 or newer Civic, 17"s with an Integra or a '97 or newer Civic. I recommend getting a different car if you like the look of bigger wheels.

Do you think a 8.5" wide rim would fit under the car with some stretched rubber, similar to the OG's but .5" wider, with a 35mm offset?

NO.
Get some 16x7 wheels, and put 205/40-16 (or 195/45-16) tires on them and they will be perfect for your car. Anything larger than that will be too big. And if you mount the tires on wheels that are too wide, they will be unsafe.
