Taking out A/C Condensor?
The Condensor is the huge *** metal thing right? I heard you can save a lot of weight by taking it out. Does it just unbolt or do I have to do a lot of crap to get it out?
its in front of the raditor normally, I don't believe removing the ac is worth it. Sweating ones *** off isn't worth the 20lbs of weight savings, just go on a diet loss 20lbs then be happy.

i agree the condesor doesn't weigh much at all.the heaviest ac component is probably the compressor.unless your ac sysyem is really hindering your hp i woudnt bother.just my opinion.
Unless you are seriously at the bottom of the HP I would just leave it there and not use it. The condensor is not the heavy part-the compressor and its bracket are along with the evaporator and its case. If you want to pull it out you will need to find a car that never had it or you will be buying parts at the dealership (grommets in particular). You can gut the evaporator case and thake the compressor off along with the piping, dyer and condensor and save almost 40 pounds. In my case this was imprtant as I'm building a race car.
