I sold my R 3 years ago and my other LS integra 6 months ago. I was wondering for all of you R owners, if you had your R stolen or broken into. For me, I had one attempted auto theft but the battery was dead and another attempted front lip theft. I am looking to get another integra, rsx, or s2000.

* The choice for "other" can mean theft of parts but not broken into ie you had your front lip stolen, or wheels jacked. It can also apply if none of the choices match what happened to you or if you do not own an ITR yet. Keep them safe guys.

3 time losers tried to steal my car. All they ended up doing was damaging the car. FUGGERS!

I was thinking the same thing.......

 

Broken into the DAY BEFORE Expo 7 and Stolen a month after. Recovered few hours later with only a missing ECU and messed up ignition.

I need two votes - broken into once (not R related, they hit several cars). Rear spoiler stolen once. Oh, and egged once.

 

The only damage ever done to my ITR did not have anything to do with any kind of theft.

The M Coupe got the worst of it, by far.

What's very hard to live down is that the only time I ever had any kind of on-track contact, I was supposed to be showing my passenger, a racer, the right way to drive a track he had never been on before.



Irony rears its ugly head.

You can tell by the position of the damage that in a race, it would have been my fault.

However, it was not a race, lucky for me.

There are two numbers on the car because it was a long three-day weekend, with one sanctioning body on Friday and another one on Saturday and Sunday.

I had my DA broken into twice in '98. Then had a 94 RS integra that was stolen but then quickly recovered within minutes in '01. In '05 I bought an ITR shell as a theft recovery. As soon as that was finally running someone stole my daily driver 00 civic and was recovered a month later on my birthday...still running!. In '06, said rebuilt ITR was stolen and never recovered. In '07 I bought another ITR but it just wasn't the same so I sold it.

 

Never. Both my Rs have been daily driven, and never garage kept. I don't think people know or care for an ITR around here which is good for me

 

Never....and I plan to keep it that way.

Stolen and recovered but missing vin plate on my engine

 

the first time was in only two days of having the R. the second time they got my hood open and door but failed. and then at least once a month for 8 month till i moved out of jesry. now i got two little dings from the screw driver pry. so over time i rub my hand on the piller and it alway remind me of the time in jersy.

My 01 R stolen back in december last year, recovered a few days later nothing but a frame.

 

Stolen and never found.

 

My current R is a theft recovery. I didn't see that in the list

 

A little off topic, but just wondering if its possible to get my vin plate replaced?

If your talking about the one on the dash. then no eom plate. depends on your state. here in cali. you would go to the CHP and they would make a plate to replace the missing one. doen not look oem. also washington state issue there own i seen those two in person.

I just noticed on friday when washing my R, that someone tried to steal my front acura emblem and there was a chunk of paint chipped off the front... closest thing to stealing on my R, but still is scary!
