Default MSD Ignition Distributor question

Here is my original post : https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=2269630( for reference ). However my question is this: Does an MSD ignition box require any special sort of distributor? I know the original owner said he had put a 92 accord distributor in it, and it appears to have one of the wires siliconed in? I am planning on just replacing the entire distributor (unless you have a better idea?) and I was just wondering if a stock replacement one would suffice or if I need something special fr an MSD ignition. Thanks a ton in advance, and any additional input on my original post would be wonderful.

You don't need a special distributor. The ignition simply piggybacks off the internals of the distributor; or, if you have a separate ignition coil it uses that. But the distributor is not a special unit.
