okay WELL
that wasnt a "smart *** reply" from me
i was telling you you are correct but
i guess not
try starting from the middle and moving towards the side where its on now
MAYBE that will help, and stop assuming people are being smug, itll get NO help for you from anyone

i had that problem with my sdn
i just ended up replacing the cap and rotor, solving the problem

now i also had this problem with the mr2, had a bad coil, so just replaced the whole dist
we put it back in about the same location, we didnt have a way to check timing, and it still is goin.

as long as u put the new dizzy in about the same spot and didnt remove any belts, ur timing should be close. it shuldnt bog down like that.
