Default lowering springs

Ok i just ordered lowering spring for my 90civ hatch...2 inch drop...do i need to replace anything with them....like shocks? or anything

I would replace the shocks while you are changing the springs since you will eventually have to replace the stock ones. The stock shocks will blow out when you are lowered. They are not designed for lowering.

i dont got the money for good ones (the ones that are like 1thousand for a set)...so is there some kind of shock i could get that are cheap like from monroe or something....

The Tokico blue's work good with simple lowerings springs. I had them on my Si, and they were great, but now I have GC coilovers and they don't like the higher springs rates. I'm going with Koni yellow's to lower it back to 2" with the GC.

If you dont know anything about shocks, then you dont need the "1thousand for a set" shocks anyways.

first off shut up I do know about shocks. but i dont want to spend a grand on ajustables when i can buy a decent no ajustable set that will work just fine. then i can spend the money i saved a accually get my DX a new motor so it will accually move...ight peace

Well I dont think you do, since there are a lot of shocks that are adjustable and dont cost a grand.

go ahead and get a camber kit for the front unless you like buying tires....My H&R's are eating tires....

about $120 for both sides (front only) the rear isn't that bad and can be fixed with a few washers...

my setup barely changed my camber.. 2" drop and my camber is basically factory.. I'll give the specs from my last alignment as soon as I can find them.
