Default Supercharged- would anyone not do it again?

If so why not?? Did or didn`t it make the car? And what problems if any, did you incur? Thanx,,, Lenny

If I were to choose a different supercharger I probably would have gone Kraftwerks. But I got a smokin' deal on my Comptech and the Kraftwerks kit wasn't for sale yet. My Comptech feels NA (No torque but rips up top) but with more power across the board. It really kicks now when VTEC changes over.

you could have gone with the youtune kit for your 2003. there are a couple people that went that route, only wait on the AP1 kit is the reflash/tuning solution.

if i had the $ to spend, i would get a supercharger for my car. it seems like it gives the car that perfect amount of extra straight-line power

It's hard to say for me at this point. I have only been supercharged since January and before that I enjoyed the car thoroughly in stock trim for 4 years. I love my Comptech kit yet I do wish I could have added some lower RPM power.

I would like to at least drive a Kraftwerks charged S this summer and get a feel for the difference. As of now though, no regrets.

Once you go boost, you can never go back.

My first go around (turbo), I got it tuned to around 310rwhp, so I could get used to it a bit before going for the 400rwhp mark. A week later, I was completely used to it. Jumped into my buddies Ap2 with basic bolt ons (I/H/E), and it was the slowest POS ever! LOL I'm redlining it and it just feels like I'm not even moving.

About a month later I went back for more power. Now that I'm in the 400rwhp+ mark. There is absolutely no way I would go back to a stock S or an S with basic bolt ons. It would drive me mad.

After looking what most of the owners have to say, I may eventually make the switch over. I plan to get AEM and larger injectors this summer, so that would make the transition to the the youtune kit a lot smoother, if I choose to go that route. Right now I'm happy, hopefully I can get more power out of it this summer and that might make me happier. Living at 5000 ft above sea level kills performance, so I don't get to experience the power that you guys get to.

Haha yeah. I haven't dyno'ed my car yet. But I'd say with the 7psi pulley up here, I'm in the neighborhood of 270-280 wheel.

Only internal work is a 3mm headgasket. And I'm still running the stock AP1 diff.

^3mm headgasket just for some safe mesure and around 15psi but it also depends on your turbo.
