Sure...I'm in....
I was actually planning a photo shoot lately until Conan's (turismo128) Type R got stolen.

I'm sure that Richard "PansitPinoy", Anthony "MR. Sales" and Henry "Chicago_Type_R" would be up for a Type R photo shoot as well. Conan, you should also join us

there should be a type R Meet this summer.
Paul has been the one who has organized the more recent meets because he has a lot of the OG Hype-R owners' e-mail.

To be honest i feel we need to just see who in the Chi-town area has their R.

I cant wait to get back to Chicago, if we do set up a meet I think it should be a little more descrete than the last few we've organized, maybe keep the exact location to PMs only (and we need to ensure enough parking this time ).

the last bbq i went to by the lake was great for the fact of being in chicago, but the worse for parking. we nice peaceful park would be nice and it doesn't have to be in Chicago. The park that Paul chose four years ago(i think) was the greatest location ever.

That definitely sounds good, too. Even after what you've been through, Conan, you should definitely come through and attend a local ITR meet this summer.

I was actually thinking about taking a ride to Galena. It is a nice little town with beautiful scenarios.

Anyone up for it?

I think you're referring to Danny Cunniff Park in Highland Park (click here).

I don't know if people want to barbecue in the park, or meet at Walker Brothers and then hang in the park, or what. There's a Walker Brothers in downtown Highland Park but parking in the area is not great (street parking plus there's an indoor garage). The park is not that far from the Walker Brothers on Waukegan Road in Glenview, although traveling on the lovely Edens Expressway construction zone these days is no pleasure.

The Walker Bros in Linconshire has adequate parking. But once again all the thefts in the Chicago area recently have me on edge, and I know they check these boards (please dont try anything, some of us are actually insane).

I'm down for a BBQ at a park too, Highland Park we wont have anything to worry about, cops are so bored there they respond in seconds.

They have me on edge, too. I've heard some bad stuff about them.

Besides, you never know who anyone is. Anyone posting here could be the low-life who stole Bart's car. Even me.

Yo Yo Yo YO!

School is out! So anyways I've been observing this thread and it seems there is enough people to show interest. Pm me for suggestive sites and all conversation will be strictly through pm's or e-mail. I have the old master itr list which I will use again, hehehe I still get replies like "thanks for inviting me but I dont own the itr anymore " but hey its the OG's (ahem Clitz N). I won't post any locations i.e. walkers' brothers or the bbque site, and I suggest the same for all you fellaz interested.

PM me if your interested and suggestion of sites. For the newbies (people who have never attended an itr meet or this is your first itr meet) you need to provide your ITR# and pic for proof of ownership. Sorry but I think its going to be a little stricter this time around. Like ken said you never know who anyone is anymore. Also I suggest you come alone (you can bring your beloved with female or male, it doesn't matter), but limited to one friend. We don't need your whole clan to tag along. I hate to say this but the last meet I was at there were retards who did burnouts etc. and other dumb crap which attracted negative attention. Hope you understand newbs. For the OG's which I mostly know on here, you just have to pm me your suggestions and dates. If I don't know who you are, I'll have ken confirm it. He's been here forever .

Okay lets start from here. Everything will be kept through pm's and e-mails only. Sounds good? If anyone has better ideas they can take over if they want. I miss the old days, dont you guys

<FONT SIZE="3">I'm thinking of doing a photo shoot in a place that has a nice scenery. Chicago downtown area would be perfect or maybe we could take a 2 hour drive to Galena, IL. I pass through Galena every few weeks and I really think that the town looks great, it has this unique historical touch to it.

PM's should work fine

Oh, I didn't realize we needed to IM; I thought any interest expressed here would be sufficient.

Here, have an IM.
