skunk 2 pro s questions......
are they worth buying for 650 with upper skunk 2 mounts used about 1k miles on them.......are they practical for a 96 coupe dd how do they ride i now have gc sleeves on some tokico blues
and i just re-read your post, i think for 650 you can go ahead and buy a brand new set because i know a few sets come with top mounts depending on the application
i bought the used set, still pretty much brand new they were only used for about 2 months under 1k miles so i still have to break the shocks in but they actually ride pretty nice compared to my worn out gc sleeves and tockico blues there really stiff but that nice cause i can still feel the road but its not hella bouncy or anything. my review great setup for what i spent they were what i was looking for out of my car for ride comfort......
, if you want stiff get the skunk2 pro s coilovers

I just installed skunk 2 springs and coilovers with tokiko blues. I dont like it, I dont know if thats the way it suppose to ride, but it bouncy when im on the freeway. When I dip I bounce I bounce right up fast. I never had a set up with coilovers, so dont know. Is it the blues that are not goo? Or the stiffness of the springs? The dude that sold them to me said he had about 4000-5000 miles on them. Is it time for new ones? Is that alot of miles?
4-5k miles is kinda high i think.....im not to familiar with skunk2's spring set up but i would imagine there pretty stiff like my coilovers, try switching to the famous ground control sleeve with ur tockico shock it seems the be a popular way to go if you dont wanna go with a full coilover set up....
I got skunk 2 springs and coilovers with blues. Your telling me that skunk2 coilover are really stiff? So go Gc and the same blues? I cant afford illuminas right now? Whats good for street ride? Anyone?
i just received my pro s in the mail and they look nice. hoping to get them installed this weekend. they say the spring rates are 8k/6k which is pretty soft so i wouldnt see why it would be a harsh ride
