This might sound dumb but I was looking at the spacers on ebay and was wondering if using a few washers (5mm thick) on each stud would be a safe option??? and do they carry the spacers in stock at like discount tire or is it something that would have to be ordered?

no they will not. The spokes do not clear EX or GSR brakes.
Use a 5mm spacer. Use extended lugs. Use lug nuts from a 93-97 accord with aluminum wheels (the open ended ones).
More work than it's worth. Buy different wheels and sell yours.
