Stock intake vs no intake vs after market cold air
So i want to get a cold air intake, my question is will the cold air intake sound as loud as having no intake on my car, it sounds really nice with no air intake but you have to be careful not to get **** inthe hole, is it bad for the motor without a intake just making sure no dirt gets in it and how loud are the after market thanks.
In the last 4 years of my honda tuning career, ive found the best intake results for any D-series to be 1 of 2 things
1.) Very expensive cold air intakes, such as AEM or Injen.
2.) Stockbox with K&N drop in filter.
Everything else gives you no gains, in fact, once superstreet did an article showing how short-rams actually cause you to lose HP.

if your not located in carb state then just simply get a ebay style cold air intake. Spray the piping with head resistent paint and call it a day. Easiest mod which shouldn't cost you any more than $50-$60.
