HEY I HAVE A 93 HATCHBACK DX AND MY STEERING IS SUM CRAP, EVERYTIME I HIT A BUMP OR SMALL POTHOLE MY CAR PULLS TO THE SIDE AND MY STEERING WHEEL TURNS, ALSO IT SLIPS LIKE HELL IN THE RAIN I WILL BE DRIVING AT DECENT SPEEND AND MY STEERING WHEEL WILL JUSS PULL TO ANY SIDE IT WANTS. I NEED HELP WHAT DO YOU THINK IT IS BECAUSE I HAVE NO IDEA!

 

Check tire pressures and check that rim is balanced. My friends wheel weight fell off and this stuff started to happen.

 

get an alignment its your best bet especially if it is pulling

 

did you do any recent suspension stuff? But I would suggest an alignment but make sure everything in the steering is tight. SOunds like it could be a caster issue with the alignment.

 

check your tire pressure and also check your tie rods im pretty sure your tie rods are bad so after you get new ones i would also get an alignment

aite thanks alot guyz....yea thats wat i thinkin also the tie rods because after i bout the car and took of the front bumper i realized it had been in an accident the radiator support looks like its been banged into place and the reinforcement bar is dented!.....

 

i am takin it tomorow morning to mechanic to get the right lower control arm replaced bushings were gone and goin to get an alignment nd see if it helps
