Default Distributor wiring ?

My 1995 Honda civic hatch was stolen recently and the thieves stole my distributor with both connector removed or cut. Now I just bought used distributor and I am wondering if I can splice the wire to the distributor side to connect the wires. Is this a good idea and is it ok for me to this? I just want to get my car running. I went to the junk yard and I cannot find a connector for it.

Thanks.

yes it'll be fine just use solder and heat shrink, and hope your dizzy doesn't mess up cuz you'll have to cut the wires and re do it, it might be a better idea to get the harness plug from a junk yard harness, and match the colors

Thanks a lot to the guy that responded. I really appreciate it. If I can't find the connector I will try just soldering it.

you could also get a pack of male and female terminoles (connectors) and do the wires individually, might not look the best but atleast it would be easier to take the dizzy out if need be in the future. Thats if you can't get the stock connector.

Don't do it!!! If you hard wire it to the distributor, you'll be screwed when you need to replace it. Just go back to the junkyard and look again for the connectors from an OBD1 Honda or Acura; it doesn't doesn't have to be from a Civic.
