Default Passing Smog- San Diego, CA for B20b swap

hey guys,

i need to pass smog. i have a b20b swap in my teg. i took it to a smog station and it passed teh emissions, but the f[freak]ers checked the timing and the timing was off so he wouldn't pass me. talk bout a dick. but do you guys know any stations that can pass me? i'm located in the san diego, ca area.

any help, inputs or suggestions would be appreciated! keep up the good work!!

well first of all the guy that smogged ur car is an idiot, cuz he should've failed you on visual, because b20's are considered SUV motors and in california it's illegal to swap in SUV motors into a passenger car. Secondly, adjust the timing and go back to that idiot because elsewhere they will fail you on visual.

Also i doubt someone will be able to tell you where to go where someone will pass you illegally.. well at least on a public forum

kidna new at this as it says NOOB..but i believe my timing was a little faster. anyone know what the timing for an LS motor from a 1994 should be at? i mean i dont even know if that's possible to do..hope u can understand what im trying to say!

b20's are not smog legal in CA. the smog tech didnt know what he was look at. correct the timing and bring it back to him. the timing should be 16 degrees +/- 2 degrees
