I was driving down the road and my oil plug went totally missing. Now I have knocking in the lower end. And my rear main seal is leaking badly. So I am going to rebuild.

My question for you is, does anyone know of a step by step guide to completely rebuilding a d16z6 ? and besides an ebay rebuild kit where is a good place to get a cheap $200 - $300 bottom end kit. This is my stock everyday driver so it needs nothing performance. And as always thanks for all your help and input.

 

Best thing is to find a Helms manual for the Z6 and then the rebuild kits can be had through Ebay or various vendors. One comes to mind...FJT.
