Default noob at tunning would like to get setup to tune my car

ok i am a total noob. ive been doing some reading,
i have a 91 crx with a b18c1 vtec

i would like to be able to read in real time all the info i need to tune my car
i dono if you can tune in real time but if you can that would be amazing too
i would also like to be able to make my check engine light or my brights indicator my shift light and set rpms to shift at

i dont wanna spend aton of money seeing how im a noob and i dont want to get too deep untill i am sure i can do this. im good with pc and soldering so no worries about that

i am not too sure on how to tune like air fuel mixtures and vtec engagement but would like to learn

so if anyone can help me out in anyway like a little shopping list of the best stuff
if not thanks anyways for reading this far haha

edit: ok well ive been looking around and looks like i can read realtime and burn realtime with moates ostrich 2.0 (http://www.moates.net/product_info.p...roducts_id=169) and crome ?? am i correct because that sounds too easy .. i know ill have to mod my ecu to take a chip .. but is that it????
and can i leave the ostrich hooked up all the time ? and one last ?
is crome pro worth it or should i just use crome .. or use someother prog???

If you want to datalog and tune in real time. Then you are on the right track.

Buy the ostrich and a logger, unless the 2.0 has it built in.

Then get Crome Pro so you can datalog.

Then chip your ecu. You can get the chip kit from moates as well. Cut J12 and you are ready to go.

Go to http://www.tunewithcrome.com or forum.pgmfi.org and check out the crome forum.

wideband sensor is what measures your exhaust gas oxygen content and the controller is what converts that into your air/fuel ratio. Basically without them you can't tune a car.

I would go with crome over uberdata. Is your car already converted to obd1? Do you already have a socketed ecu? For the price ectune would be a better value. Either setup you'll need a ostrich if you want realtime datalog and tune. A neptune rtp would come out to about the same amount after software and ostrich.

As for wideband kit some popular brands are ngk, innovate, plx, fjo.....
I can get ngk and fjo wideband kits if interested.

link to my store is in my sig. I think ngk kit is pretty good bang for buck. I could get you a nice price on hondata s300 too but I would rather suggest you get neptune rtp or ectune which I don't sell. Same features for less $$$. Checkout xenocron.com for these products.

ectune is just software but you have to have an ostrich to use it. They both come out to the same amount. Neptune just has the rtp unit built onto the board that's all.

I have eCTune and I have no tuning experience at all! Aside from playing with the software of Hondata, Chrome, Uberdata and eCTune. Anyway I can't put any of those other companies down but I found eCTune really easy to setup and the support is second to none.

1. No.
2. The Bluetooth is for your laptop to get the info wireless.
3. Everything included, yes.
