Ok I'm being serious here. How to make a d15b2 handle power.
Ok so this is a serious question. I have a few blocks laying around here with a chassis that is awaiting a k. So for now I would like to pass time and see what can be done to a d15b2. Heres what I got planned
d15b2 block
z6 head thats been PNP ferrera valves, zex spring, cam
Skunk2 intake manifold
ebay header
Arp's
NOS Wet system. 35-150 shot.
So what are any options for the d15 as far as rods? I know the pistons will hold. I plan on a cometic head gasket to lower the compression.
I was looking at shotpeening the rods and putting arp rod bolts. Any one know of a cheap replacement?
I am not swapping out a to a diff motor. I want this to all be in a d15b2.

i say get some morroso block filler and a junkyard turbo setup. and boost until it blows or you hit 600 hp..
do it up man, im planning on somewhat the same build. i want to bore it out maybe .40 with high comp pistons and some pretty heavy head work. the 1.5 motor spin up very fast in low end, they just struggle in high end. the 1.6 crankshaft weighs about 12 more punds then a 1.5 and it only has .1 liter difference!! as for the rods, i beleive (dont get mad if im wrong) will hold up to 2-300 horses???? good luck man let me know how this thing rips
I would do that but I rather use what I got. I am looking at spending no more then 300 on building the motor. I alrady have all the gaskets, wet kit, etc...
