Removing counter-shaft bearing from 85 CRX transmission
I'm trying to remove the counter-shaft bearing from the transmission of an 85 CRX. The bearing is countersunk into the transmission. There is nothing to grab onto from above (the bearing is flush with the casing) and pulling it out with a hook is also proving difficult - there's an oiling baffle (?) in the way and I can only hook (just barely) onto the bearing race or roller bearings themselves.
Any advice on how to get this bearing out without damaging it?
Here's a link to a picture of the bearing I'm working on...

I think I found the tool you are referring to...

The cost of the tool is more than the bearing. I suppose I'll just pry it out.
Thanks.
