I purchased a jdm ls off a friend of mine and i open the valve cover and noticed the cams gears were pr3... i dont know if the whole camshaft is pr3 as well... he said the motor pulled nicely but how does the jdm b16 cams work on a jdm ls motor?? and i also notice the throttle body was a edlebrock 65mm...this motor has a lot of secrets i dont know of but i want to know if these cams and whatever else makes it faster or slower?? please help.....

A cam cannot be half one thing and half another... if it's pr3 camshaft then yes, the whole thing is a pr3 camshaft.

Were you meaning camGEAR vs camshaft?

I don't beleive you can put Vtec cams in a non-vtec head.
