My engine warning light came on and flashed code 22: VTEC pressure switch. I've lost a little engine power, and I notice my oil pressure fluctuates near the VTEC engagement. This is the second time in two years this part has gone out on me, what is going on? Where is it located and how do I replace it? Is there an upgrade or aftermarket part available?

 

you could be low on oil or solenoid needs a little cleaning. take out the solenoid and spray with parts/brake cleaner (filter, solenoid). let it dry then install back. check oil and add if needed. common things that are overlook. meaning maintenance.
