Default Do I need a camber kit for the wheel setup I want?

Hey guys,

I was wondering if I need a front/rear camber kit for my car. The rims I want to run are the drag dr20 15x7 +10 offset wheels with a 195/45/15 tire. I'm going to roll my fenders and I'm going to lowered so that I tuck a little bit of tire, if not more.

My question is do I need a front and/or rear camber kit to be able to tuck a tire? Or is the negative camber achieved when lowering a car good enough?

This is pretty much the look I'm going for but I believe the owner is running 15x8 equips with a 15 or 10 offset. Since the drag's are 15x7, I'm wondering if I need a camber kit to acheive that look.

Thanks in advance guys, I appreciate it.

*NOTE. The car picture can be taken down if requested. Please let me know!

imo, if you are going to run that kind of setup..

just get the camber kits, save yourself the trouble, just in case it doesn't fit.

Yes. Maybe a tiny bit higher.

Both camber kits are like $350+ install so I'm trying to see if I really need to spend that much or not. But thanks, it's looking like I need camber kits so I'll try that and then adjust it slowly for it to fit.

mainly rear ones. i have 15x8 +15 offset right now and i rolled ally my fenders, but the rear wheels tend to be sticking out a little more than the front and less cambered when lowered. rear ones will run youl like $150

I would get the Axis Old Skool wheels. This way you get that same exact look because they're replicas of that exact wheel! 15x8 is the size, they're well priced, and you will get the look you're going for.

Have you seen the 15x7's without the super deep dish on them with a bunch of negative camber? It's an ENTIRELY different look than the deep dishes with the negative camber. I would seriously consider just getting the 15x8's and rolling the fenders, or simply lowering it to the point where it won't rub.

Just a suggestion, but here's pics of the oldskools:

I wanted those at first but people want like ~180-ish a wheel lol so I settled for the drags.

The drag's are 15x7, but have a +10 offset, so I think it might be the same look yeah?

Thanks for the reply though, I've never seen that modacar site before so I'm gonna email them for an estimate for both the axis and drag's

Oops, I forgot to respond to your post!

How much are your front wheels cambered? Enough to tuck a rolled fender? Where I live, it's illegal to have the front wheels "visibly out of alignment" so I can tuck a bit of fender with the 15x7 +10's, then I don't have to get one for the front I guess.

Haha, I never though of just getting the rears only Good idea! That way I can potentially save the 230$ for the fronts. Thanks!

edit: ^^ I was re-reading that and it might have sounded like sarcasm, but I wasn't being sarcastic btw

My front wheels are fine, they are like -3 degrees or somewhere around there. i personally want a little bit more of neg camber up front to go a little lower and have the more agressive look.

I am pretty low as of now and front tires only rub during hard braking/cornering.

I don't get how your car can be visibly out of alignment. i dont believe having a lot of neg. camber is considered "out of alignment" weird....
