This started 2 nights ago when I was cleaning out my engine bay. I've done this tons of times on my previous cars. After I finished with that I started my car and started to sound like a Subaru. It appeared cylinder 2 wasn't getting any spark and sounded like it was misfiring. So I take apart the cap and rotor and so much gunk was building up on the 4 pins that the rotor spins and touches to ignite the spark. And 2 spark plugs were pretty bad.(Please note i don't think my car has had a tune up since it was first bought. I'm the 3rd owner and so far I've had it for almost a year now. It's a SOHC, if your wondering) So now my car won't crank up. So this morning, went to Autozone and bought Duralast Cap and Rotor, Spark Plug Wires and 4 NGK Spark Plugs. After doing all this, my car started up and the idle was fine. no problems. After 15 minute of warming up the engine. I drive it to autozone with my friend to check something on his car, stop a 4way stop and start going on 1st gear and then turns off. Wtf???? So far it could either be one of the options below as from what I hear around here. I know it's not my battery even after so many attempted cranks the battery started to sound like it was dying so after getting jumping cables, it still wouldn't start. and yes i have gas in the car. I still think the problem might be the car isn't getting any spark somehow but here are my options. please advise
a) it can be the ignition coil
b) it can be my alarm, the brain of the alarm could of been damaged due take the battery off and putting it on and taking off again since i did this like 10 times while trying to get this **** to turn on again
Reason why: I have a Compustar and has a kill switch so when theives brake in and dont turn off the alarm, the car will not crank. So if the brain was fried, it would have been stuck in this mode. (btw my alarm still works. meaning lock, unlock, panic, etc) my car would turn on right before you turn to turn on the ignition and btw no check engine lite
c) my stock computer probably went bad.
things i've done so far:
bought new cap and rotor
bought new spark plug wires
bought new spark plugs
checked my fuse boxes in the alarm and of the car itself
rolling jump start
tried giving it a jump with my friends car
checked the relays
