Default 99 Civic Si LSVTEC 1/4, is this right?

I will post the time slip but for now Im going to give a quick rundown.
This was the first time I took it to the track and best time was 14.6 1/4 mph was 95. Full interior and on street tires.

Here is the engine mod list.

GSR Block
B16 HEAD
B16 TRANNY
CTR PISTONS
CTR CAMS
AEM CAM GEARS
RC 310 INJECTORS
255 WALBRO FUEL PUMP
BLOX IM
PASSWORD JDM CHAMBER INTAKE
EDLEBROCK 65MM TB
STOCK HEADER + CAT
HKS CATBACK EXHAUST
TUNED ON P28 CHIP
NGK BKR7E SP GAP TO .44
7MM NGK SPARK PLUG WIRE
93 OCTANE

What do you guys think? Should I have done better? Im just so curious of what other HT member has there opinion on this and what things needs to be done.

Thanks

99 si is kinda heavy. and you ran full interior plus street tires. with more practice on the same tires you can probably do low 14s.

that setup is a poor man typeR not ls/vtec

ls/vtec use's a ls (b18a/b) block not a gsr (b18c/c1) block

Thanks for all the response!

lsvtec vs poor mans typeR, does either block matters? If it does which one rather to go with?

I will update again after next track.

No the B18A1 is not a gsr block. You have a LS block.

work on your launching to bring that 60' down and your times will improve. tire spin is causing that 2.3 60 foot. a set of 22x8x13" slicks could bring that 60' down to at least 1.8...

you can prob break 13's with a little practice on slicks. when you say it was tuned did you tune on the dyno? if so what were the #'s?

I recommend you to put a GsR head with skunk head valve retainer with a stage 2 cams, Type R tranny , and some 22 inch slicks you'll hit low 12s but you gots to put it in a EG of course. Check it out at youtube if curious under Junior.
