does it shake at speeds or pull to one side?
kinda sounds like alignment or warped rotors

Im having the same problem although I havent delved into it yet. I thought mine was probably warped rotors but now Im wondering.

Tires or unbalanced rim? Probably not though.

You gotta think about it this way... Theres only so many additional systems involved when youre braking versus when youre accelerating... If you get shake while accelerating it could be more things... tires, rims, axles, etc.... if the shake only happens when youre braking it can only be a few things... pads, rotors or POSSIBLY a bad rear engine mount. The one that bolts to the front rear crossmember. But if it was that, youd probably have shake through the wheel at other times, especially at idle.
