The car starts and idles fine but most of the time when i pull out from a stop or some times at slow speed, the CEL comes on the dash and i can hear the main relay click. Feels like a jerky miss when it does it. When the CEL is gone the car runs fine. There is no light blinking on the ecu, it had a code 16 but i cleared it and it hasnt come back yet.

At this point i have changed the main relay, tried another ecu, distributor, clean all the ground wires under the hood, and checked the ecu wiring (mpfi swap)

its a 90 STD with D15b boosted running OBD0
The car has MPFI swap
Chiped with turboedit
and an S-afc that i use for a tach

Quite some miles on this setup and the problem sudenly happened unexpectedly.

Any ideas on what to do next, im stumped???

 

well the code 16 is injector related, if u have another set of injectors laying around id throw em in there and see it it solves the issue, maybe one is sticking?
also if u have another injector resistor box handy that would be a good test as well. could be a possible bad connection within the box itself?
