last night i took my sisters 02' accord v6 sedan out.
a civic ex pulled up and looked at me, so i was like okay civic vs v6 accord.
civic was trying but he didnt win.

light turned green and i took off, ******* RPM went to like 5800 and the VTEC sounded sick.

problem is when i go like 40mph and then let of the gas i hear like a strange humming coming from underneath the car. is something wrong with the engine?

i didnt hit any dips or anything.

help plz

sis car has a blown motor!........j/k ....could be anything....its kinda hard to tell what you talking about as long as the check engine lights not on......keep racing

but it feels like a slight vibratio w/ a humming noise.

Anyone else find it strange he is talking about two cars that aren't even integras in this forum. Anyway, it's a brand new car, sounds like a noise it would have developed anyway, by pushing it so early, it's just making the noise sooner. It's a brand new auto, so I'd say there's nothing to worry about.

 

the car has been de-virgintized already man. awhile ago. we got this car back in december of 2001.

 

probably a loose heat shied or somehting, swing by the dealer and have them check it out

sounds like an exhaust leak maybe? just get it checked out...or get under there and look
