Check your cam timing and your ignition timing. Also check the 2 white wires at the distributor, make sure they are not swapped, if they are, it will retard your ignition timing and you may have advanced your timing to try and make up for it (I did). Makes it loud out of your intake.

did u wire up the injector resistor box properly? and also dont start multi thread on teh same problem. so first step now that we know u have a cel for injectors is to find the cause and get rid of that code, most likely that is the whole problem. list a link to the guide u used to do the swap, along with the year ur ur hatch. do u know what injectors ur using (what are they out of?) what dizzy, ect. we need as much info as possible as to what parts u used and what they are from.

Theres something wrong, obviously, if its still extremely loud. Calm down, its early morning. You're going to get help here, no worries!

I'd say its probably a wiring/timing issue as others have said. The code 17 won't cause this, so ignore it for now.

You really aren't going to get any help acting like this.

You need to explain yourself better to get better answers. And a cardboard TB gasket?

They're like 6 bucks at the dealer. Code 16 means you probably wired your injectors incorrectly. Try verifying that they're firing before you move on. You also should try to identify your IM, there should be a code stamped on the driver's firewall side of it.
