Default Thank you for your well wishes for our injured driver.

It was a very tough weekend for us at Boost Boyz Racing. Our driver (Hot Rod class rookie Sandra Thomas) had a bad accident on our pit bike shortly before her Nopi Atlanta final round race against Bryan Jimenez. She fell off and severely broke her right ankle which required 7 hours of surgery and a lengthy rehab after she leaves the hospital. I'm sitting right next to her right now in her hospital bed, and all she can talk about is getting back to the track. I just want to thank everyone who sent get well wishes out to her. They really pick up her spirits and give her something else to focus on besides the pain she's in. They may allow her to leave Cooper Trauma Center in Camden, New Jersey by the end of the week. Send her a shout on Honda-Tech. Her name is toubaby2. Thank you, and we'll see everyone in a few weeks (we are not going to Englishtown). Your thoughts and well wishes mean a lot to us.

Shawn Brown
Boost Boyz Racing Crew Chief

Hey Shawn, I know you were foaming at the mouth to get into the drivers seat. But to throw her off of the 4 wheeler....Thats cold!!!

All jokes aside, please let her know that everyone from our crew has her in our prayers. She will be back in the seat ripping gears soon!!!

Joe, I was sorry to see what happened to you as well. Please let me know if I can do anything to help you get it back together!!!

Sorry to hear that, tough break.

Need a driver for your HR car, seems like rota92 is looking for some seat time.

Believe me, I wanted to buy a golf cart, but it wouldn't fit in our trailer with both racecars inside. Yes, I have a pic. I don't have my camera on me at the moment, but I'll get it up this afternoon hopefully. It's not a gruesome pic, just a pic of her smiling from her hospital bed.

Golf carts may be nice for some but IMO you have a truck, it's got a large bed for all kinds of stuff, just about anything you could need, even A/C on the hotter day's for the driver.

Definitely a tough break.(no pun intended) She sounds like she's on the road to recovery already in spirit. It'll just take some time and patients <---- Most racers need help with this one.

Get well soon!

You're right about that! She's already chomping at the bit trying to speed up her therapy process, but I won't let her. She wants to at least attempt to be able to drive by the 2nd Nopi Englishtown event. I, however, just want her to take it easy and get better. It'll be a slow process, but she's a tough one and will pull through great.

As long as everyone else knows that i'm the only one that can talk like that cause you my bro. If any one else said it would get F'd up!!!!! LOL

just kidding though. How are things going?

Just tell her that there is 7-9 yo kids in motocross racing with broken ankles,so there is no excuse for her to not be at ENGLISHTOWN this weekend. And since she in NJ. she dont have a long 3hr drive to get there. LOL

GET WELL SOON!!!!!

Default A great big thank you !!!

I want to thank everyone that has sent their sympathy over the past few days. I'm pretty bummed that I'm going to miss the Englishtown event this weekend. I'm hoping not to miss any more NOPI races that are having the pro cars. I hoping to make it to the NOPI at MIR for sportsman classes just to watch. So if you see me in the wheelchair please stop and speak. I'm going to propose that maybe the crew chief / handicapped caretaker can strap a small turbo on the wheelchair to help me get around. LOL

As most of you know we are self sponsored by myself working two jobs and Shawn working as much overtime as he can. Without me being able to work either job I'm hoping to be able to sell some parts to pick up some slack, so if you need any parts contact Toyotaturbo and he can do something fo you.

Again thank you everyone for your concern and compassion, I feel honored to be a part of the honda-tech community.

OK It's killing me to not know what's goig on at Englishtown this weekend, can someone please give me some updates.
Not knowing whats going on is worse than the 7 hours of surgery and having this thing on my leg.

Please, I'm having withdraws here.
