would that make a big difference or not really? or can i even do that?

its vtec man. wow. rule 1, search if you have a question, or need to confirm the spelling of something. Go to google and put vtech.

yes you can. its called an lsvtec conversion. it can also be done using a crv motor which is 2.0 ltrs. sounds like your kinda new to hondas so my advice is to research lsvtec, ls/v, crvtec and vtec conversion. if you look on the upper right hand corner you will see a search button. click it and enter your topic. also click on the "archived" button for a lot more threads. it would really help to read the forum rules. people flip out when new guys that are too eager to learn skip reading the rules and post questions that have been covered 1000 times a day. good luck and READ READ READ before you ask. oh yea welcome to h-t

Look in your upper right hand corner. It should say search. Heck, they were even kind enough to make it in red.

i think the op means can you just bolt on the head and not rev past 7k and have the oil flowing well in vtec without fitting an additional line in the head...
i read all the vtec builds on this site and i dont remember it specifying whether or not you can, reliably
