Default head gasket and machine head

hey i have an basicly stock h23, ppl tellin me to machine my head before i put my head gasket on, do u guys think that there would be a problem if i dont? cuz i dunt really have the time nor money for it at this moment.

Take it to a shop and have them spec the head if it is straight there is no need to have it milled down. If it is out of spec the new head gasket will not seal and the work will need done anyway, its worth the few bucks to have it checked. most shops will only charge a small fee to check it for warp less then $20 around here. Knowing its right before you do all that work is a great way to save time, money, and your sanity

ya if you don't get it checked you will prolly pay for it later. I paid $34 bucks and it took 1 day for them to fix it and clean the **** out of it too.
