Default manual swap =]

01 civic lx auto trans died... suprise! haha decided why not do the swap, gets out of the shop today, im excited. only driven manual a few times in friends integra around a parken lot... **** i hope i get used to it quick =] any last min advice on my shifting?

drive and learn from everything you do. pick up tips and keep learning.

don't gas extremely hard while on clutch. saves gas. that's my advice to you.

WHO AND HOW MUCH DID YOU PAY FOR THE SWAP?COULD YOU POST A CHECK LIST OF ALL THAT IS NEEDED OR THAT YOU NEEDED TO COMPLETE THE SWAP?

i got all the parts i need from a donor car for 900 and i got a mechanic friend of a friend to do it for me labor costing 450 so all in all 1350 which isnt damn bad for a manual swap. i think the parts you need is the actual transmission, the clutch, the flywheel, the 3rd clutch pedal, slave cylender, the shifter, the shift **** and shift boot, a clutch line, a master slave cylender, and.... the manual speedoometer guages.... i think thats mostly everything not 100% sure but yea.. its alot of ****.

well manual is better my friend.. and once you get used to it , you will love it..

and you wont have any problems with your transmission
