They are sized nicely for me to install toward the end of the downpipe.

Just curious if anyone might have used one before, especially in this location. I'm also going to run the largest Magnaflow straight through style muffler I can fit in the stock location at the rear of the car. Looking for something very stealthy (sounding) that also flows extremely well.

I haven't used one, but it looks like it may quiet things down more than a standard resonator because of the size, which may also be harder to mount. I would think that two regular sized resonators would quiet things down just as well, if not more. If two standard resonators were cheaper than the vibrant one, I'd go with two.

 

I need to do a little more measuring to be really sure it will fit, but I think I can put it at the end of the downpipe in the area where the rearmost part of the stock cat would have been. Assuming I can fit it there, I think I will try out the Ultra Quiet Resonator (they're expensive, but not ridiculous), and then maybe I will place a conventional round resonator somewhere in the system between that and the muffler.

Maybe it will be relatively quiet with what is effectively 4 muffling devices in the system. . . Huh?
