crank position sensor...help

Default crank position sensor...help

i have an obd2 gsr that i converted to and obd1...the motor is swaped in to my civic vx now, and won't start...can the crank position sensor cause it to not start???

Hmmmm... when i rebuilt my GSR(OBD2) i ripped out my Crank Positioning Sensor by mistake and forgot to put it back in and it drives like normal, well except the check engine light thats telling me its missing, but it should still start up man i jsut need to find a OBD2 conversion to a OBD1 kit to get that dang light off haha hope this helps dude

alot of people said yes and alot of people said no.....and yes is the answer...i had to switch back to my obd 2 harness for my motor to work....thanks for the help guys..
