Right now i have a B18C5 blown short block. It spun bearings real bad. What do you guys think i can get for it? The guy at the shop im getting my motor work done at said he'll give me 500$ for it. I think it might be worth more but not sure. Let me know.

Are you talking complete engine, or just the short block?

head alone is worth more than that IMO comlete.

 

short block(meaning no head) 500 is a good deal with spun bearings or whatever is wrong with it, your sure its blown and your mechanics not just trying to pull a fast one on you?
