Default Nitrous Question...

To start things off, ive got a 95 Civic hatch with a GSR motor in it. The car has type r cams, and has been taken care of very well. I just installed a Skunk2 intake manifold, 68 mm throttle body and a BDL Industries fuel rail. I also got a RS*R Header and a full exhaust. A friend of mine just dropped a N.O.S nitrous kit off at my garage and said he didnt want it. It is a wet kit but didnt come with jets. My question is, with my current motor setup what would be a good shot to give the motor at the track without worrying too much about blowing it up. Ive been told to do a 75 wet shot and the car would be ok. I was also told a dry 50 shot wouldnt be too bad for the motor. What do you guys on honda-tech think?

i like dry shots honestly just cuz they are easier to setup just retard the timing a lil, on most my cars i spray 125shot and that's on a stock motors. you could easily run a 75 shot on dry just be sure to retard the timing and never spray at low rpm i never spray below 3000 and when you hit 3000rpm at full throttle spray away! nitrous is like cocaine it's addictive as hell cuz u always want more just dont over dose on it. if u really want to do nitrous build the motor! trust me it'll be worth it!

Check the forced induction forum, there is a great thread on nitrous there. The for sale section also has a guy who is selling rc 310 for $160.

Ill have to check it out. Im not looking to push the motor too far. I might just do a dry shot of like 50 or 75, nothing more. im going to get a window switch from MSD and have it set to hit at 4 and stop at like 7500 or so, that way it turns itself on and off so i dont push it too far and blow it up.
